Open a beauty salon in Poland

Sanitary requirements for a hairdressing salon, beauty salon are defined by legislation - and they are the same as everywhere else.

For example, the premises in which services are provided must have space to accommodate, install and utilise devices and equipment for the proper provision of services.
For example, walls at sinks in service areas should be lined to a height of at least 1.6 metres with a non-absorbent material that is easy to clean and resistant to moisture and various substances.
It must be possible to connect to the water supply and sewerage system (or there are their own).
There must be both cold and hot water.

Indoors, you have to stand out:
1) premises where the service is directly provided;
2) A cloakroom and waiting area for visitors;
(3) Sanitary and hygiene facilities for people working and using services;
4) storage space for cleaning equipment;
5) A place to store cosmetic preparations;
6) space for waste containers.

There should be a separate place for washing and colouring hair, equipped with a washbasin with hot and cold water .

After opening a hairdresser's shop, you are obliged to notify in writing the sanitary inspector at the poviat sanitary station of the place, type and scope of activity and the expected number of employees within 14 days of opening.
